You will demonstrate professionalism in your interactions with customers by assessing their individual needs which involves verifying identification completing application forms and entering data into online driver license application software. You will provide appropriate forms and informational brochures that cater to customer requirements. Furthermore you will administer standardized knowledge tests to evaluate applicants understanding of motor vehicle codes driving laws and traffic control devices. A vision screening for visual acuity will be performed on all applicants using a telebinocular instrument. You will input applicants test results and customer applications for driver license services into online software systems via a PC terminal. You will independently respond to public inquiries showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the services available and the requirements for obtaining both REAL ID and nonREAL ID products. Additionally you will assist customers with information or services related to drivers license or identification card renewals duplicates outofstate transfers motorcycle licenses and commercial drivers licenses including knowledge of various restrictions and endorsements. Upon request you will prepare Restoration Requirements Letters for customers in person and ensure that the correct fee waiver code is applied and documented as needed in compliance with all Fee Waiver Guidelines.
