Job Description

- Study input and output bulk data (starting with Bills and Resolutions but extending to other publication types) to identify places where Schematron rules should be created or existing ones should be refined.
- Develop pipelines and other technological infrastructure to enable Schematron schemas to be integrated into other systems (e.g. deployment of SchXslt to create ondemand SVRL reports).
- Curate and operate tests and test suites that measure the accuracy and efficiency of Schematron tests and their underlying XSLT functions and stylesheets.
- Participate in developing or codeveloping XSLT functions and stylesheets.
- Expertise in Schematron XSLT (minimally version 2.0 ideally 3.0 XPath XML regular expressions and at least one structural schema language (DTD XML Schema RELAXNG).
- Experience with the Unicode standard one or more languages for scripting workflows (e.g. batch Shell Ant XProc) and one or more objectoriented programming languages.
- Software competence: Oxygen XML Editor Git or other XML/publishing tools.
- Minimum 10 years experience in IT.
