What were looking for

Were searching for an exceptional individual to join our team as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager. This person will assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing a large team of housekeepers and partner with the local management team.This job is located in Charleston SC but will be driving to the Mount Pleasant Isle of Palms and Downtown North Charleston areas.

Compensation

  • $18 / hour. Actual pay will vary based on a candidates skill experience education and/or location.

What youll do

  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager with hiring training motivating recognizing
  • Support the Housekeeping manager in an effort to ensure proper staffing and scheduling for maximum productivity
  • Assist in controlling payroll costs to achieve maximum profitability
  • Communicate priorities to staff through daily and weekly meetings
  • Participate in daily operations including cleaning and inspecting of units to maintain standards
  • Identify and report maintenance related problems
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with fellow regional team members and upper management team
  • Performs other duties as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills youll need

  • Technical computer skills required on all forms of hardware laptops tablets and mobile devices
  • Availability to work Sunday through Saturday early mornings and evenings as needed.
  • One to three years hospitality customer service experience
  • Knowledge of city state and federal employment laws
  • Professional in all forms of communications such as email phone calls video calls and texts
  • Ability to work well under pressure in an agile fastpaced environment
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions
  • Highly responsive and reliable
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to stand sit and walk for an extended period of time
    • Reach overhead and below the waist
    • Regularly push pull and lift up to 25 pounds
    • Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
    • Bend stoop squat kneel and twist
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
