Candidates MUST be on EAST Coast.
We are seeking a very talented and motivated Full Stack Software Developer to join our energetic team. Financial domain knowledge is preferred but more importantly drive to build great software and bring delightful digital experience to our customers. This is an opportunity to immerse you in the latest Java Angular Cloud and JavaScript frameworks and tools that are relevant to Digital. This individual is responsible for leveraging technology to enable the organizations futurestate business capabilities which can enable or alter business processes or practices that in turn drive the organizations targeted business outcomes. Senior Full Stack Software Developers must be capable of practically applying existing new and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models. Conversely they must be able to understand and operationalize new technologies. The individual in this role develops deliverables that are valuable to the business including business capabilities business requirements and workflow.

- Work with QA team product owners Scrum Master and Story Authors to understand and define requirements.
- Design and build new software tools and systems on the Azure and Private Cloud
- Exceptional knowledge of software development and system engineering practices will be required
- Perform comprehensive TDD integration and scale testing of all software produced
- Work with existing users to provide education and resolution of issues
- Work to integrate new technologies and systems into existing infrastructure
- Adhoc analysis of problematic datasets to help resolve issues encountered by users
- Participate in group design and code reviews
Minimum Knowledge & Experience:
- MS or equivalent in Computer Science is preferred
- 5 years of experience building featurerich customer facing applications
- 5 years of experience building featurerich customer facing web applications
- Experience with building applications in Azure would be very cool (preferred)
- Practical experience with Java 8 OOP and Design Patterns
- Experience with Spring Security and Oauth2
- Experience with Cloud Cloud Foundry Docker and Containers
- Experience with many of our front end technologies including: Angular2 JavaScript Polymer HTML and CSS
- Hybrid Mobile development would be cool too
- Experience with XML and REST/JSON technologies
- Hands on experience with Junit and other TDD tools
- Proficient understanding of crossbrowser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
- Good understanding of SCRUM/agile methodology
- Excellent communication skills
- Financial Services Industry experience is a plus
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Exposure to java frameworks like spring spring boot etc. is a plus.
- Hybrid Mobile development experience a plus
- Understanding DevOps and experience is a plus
- Cloud/Pivotal and/or RedHat OpenShift platform experience is a plus
- Financial Services Industry experience is a plus

Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay thats fair and equitable which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e. annual cash incentives sales incentives and/or longterm incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidates geographic location work experience education licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for parttime roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
