Job Title:Haematology and Blood transfusion Biomedical Sciencist
Location: Scarborough North Yorkshire
Banding: Band 6
Start date: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing
Rate: 22 27 per hour
Working hours: Monday Friday 37.5 hours per week
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology and Blood Transfusion to join our clients team in Scarborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients ensuring thehighest standards of laboratory practice.
What will your responsibilities be:
The role involves performing a wide range of diagnostic tests in Haematology and Blood Transfusion interpreting results and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. The Biomedical Scientist will be responsible for maintaining quality control procedures participating in audits and contributing to the development of laboratory protocols. Additionally the role includes training and supervising junior staff managing laboratory equipment and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
