Job Description
The Patient Care Manager is responsible for providing the overall leadership and management of the Progressive Care unit and for producing successful outcomes and results.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies ideas and actions to achieve the required clinical outcomes.
- Identifies ideas actions and processes to improve quality reduce risk and maintain patient safety.
- Builds trusting collaborative relationships with staff peers other disciplines ancillary services physicians vendors.
- Maintains knowledge of healthcare delivery models healthcare economics and healthcare policy.
- Effectively utilizes database management decision support and expert system programs to access information and analyze data from disparate sources for use in planning for patient care processes and systems.
Requirements:
- Must possess Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) degree Masters in Nursing Health Care or Business Administration preferred.
- Possess 35 years of nurse management experience within a hospital. Possess 57 years of experience in MedSurg.
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois. CPR & PALS certification by AHA accredited program. FEMA 100 200 & 700.
