Responsibilities & Qualifications

What Youll Do:

  • Serve as a Civil Engineer for a variety of highway and roadway infrastructure projects with a strong focus on MassDOTled initiatives.

  • Lead or support the development of design plans calculations and specifications using MicroStation OpenRoads Designer (ORD).

  • Collaborate closely with project managers and senior technical staff to develop and execute production work plans and ensure timely highquality deliverables.

  • Support preparation of MassDOT PS&E packages including cost estimates special provisions and bid documents.

  • Apply a deep understanding of MassDOT standards policies and design guidelines to ensure compliant and constructible designs.

  • Participate in field reviews site visits and coordination meetings with clients and stakeholders.

  • Assist in mentoring junior staff fostering a collaborative and growthoriented team environment.

What Youll Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineer (PE) license in Massachusetts strongly preferred.

  • 510 years of progressive experience in civil engineering with a focus on transportation/highway design.

  • Demonstrated experience working on MassDOT projects with a solid understanding of the MassDOT Project Development and Design Guide and other agencyspecific standards.

  • Advanced proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer (ORD); experience with InRoads or Civil 3D is a plus.

  • Proven ability to develop and review engineering documents including plans specifications and technical reports.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a focus on client service.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a highperforming multidisciplinary team.

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment we have provided the base compensation range of$80000 $135000 annually for this position and local market.
