Job Description

Role: Material Planner

Client: DODAerospace

Location: Anniston AL

Duration: 12month contract

Hourly Rate:up to $29/hr (W2 nonbenefited)

Position Description:

The Material Planner is responsible for establishing and executing a set manufacturing plan for one or more programs. Ensures material is forecasted ordered and available on time to meet the build plan. The planner is responsible for releasing work to the manufacturing floor for build maintains ship dates and customer commitments while working with other support staff to execute the plan. The planner must monitor cost quality schedule of programs to meet the goals set by the business. Communication across multiple business functions is required business areas include but not limited to Finance Program offices Engineering and Manufacturing

Required Skills:

Ability to use Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and other operating systems.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Strong understanding timelines and supply chain planning

Preferred Skills:

Oracle experience is a plus
Scheduling and MRP experience is a plus

Experience Required:

4 years of experience with Bill of Materials and MRP planning
Ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment with interactions across crossfunctional disciplines
Ability to lift 30 lbs

Education Required
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
