Job Description
Capital University invites applications for nursing parttime clinical instructors experienced in various nursing care settings for clinical nursing courses including fundamentals medicalsurgical motherinfant pediatrics psychiatric community and advanced medicalsurgical nursing on an ongoing basis. Clinical days are either Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays or Saturdays.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching and evaluating students in clinical settings.
- Linking theoretical content to clinical nursing practice experiences.
- Use of teaching strategies that are appropriate to meet student learning needs.
- Ensuring applicable course program and clinical facility policies are maintained by both self and students.
Required qualifications:
- Applicable nursing experience and earned BSN required; MSN preferred.
- Active unincumbered Ohio RN License required.
- Previous teaching experience at the baccalaureate or higher level is strongly preferred.
