Job Description
Teledyne Qioptiq Electronic Solutions (QES) is an advanced electronics business that provides custom energetics including electronic safe & arm devices highvoltage semiconductor switches and rubidium frequency standards for defense and space applications weapons sights and surveillance products.
We are hiring an Accounts Receivable Analyst to work onsite at our Miamisburg OH location.
Responsibilities
Manages all aspects of the AR and Travel expense processes including:
Invoicing credit memos collections and maintaining accurate customer records in SAP.
Resolve disputes and exceptions from collection processes
Ensuring all invoices are posted to general ledger and reconcile to GL on monthly basis.
Review unapplied cash account.
Perform Due Diligence on new customers by obtaining necessary information such as D&B reports bank & trade references internet information and salesperson input for these prospective customers. Establish credit limits for customers to a predetermined limit set by the Controller.
Analyze A/R Aging follow up on overdue payments and propose quarterly bad debt allowances.
Report and forecasts cash collections weekly.
Review and approve expense reports in Unanet to make sure they are in compliance with Teledyne policies.
Reconcile approved Unanet expenses reports to bank transactions and propose adjustments.
Propose monthly accrued expenses entry and send to accounting team.
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley controls policies and procedures.
Assist with period end audits.
Any other duties assigned by the Controller
Requirements
Minimum 5 years progressive responsibility in the above functions.
Bachelors degree in accounting or related field.
Must have previous experience with SAP for managing financial transactions ensuring accurate and timely processing of collections and customer payments.
Demonstrated numerical aptitude with a proven ability to efficiently solve complex problems.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products Intermediate experience in Excel.
Strong customer relations skills.
