Field Service Technician
Tachus Fiber Internet Tachus is seeking an outstanding individual to fill the role of a Field Service Technician. The ideal FST candidate should be an experienced highly organized and energetic selfstarter with a successful track record of thriving in a dynamic fastpaced environment. This role is responsible for delivering our vision to our valued customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Installation and testing of various data media that includes but not limited to CAT5e CAT6 Fiber Optic etc.
- Occasional oncall duties
- Demonstrate advanced customer service and troubleshooting skills
- Adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by the Company and OSHA
- Maintain the companys high standard of quality and professionalism with regards to workmanship customer relations coworkers behavior and appearance
- Perform any other duties not specifically stated herein but which your supervisor may assign
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Use proper care on all company assets to avoid breakage misuse theft etc.
- Ability to maintain a calm and collected demeanor in difficult and stressful situations
- Proficient in using fiber tools and fiber optic test equipment
- Maintain a clean neat professional appearance
- Be able to see a job through from start to finish with minimal supervision
- Willing to work overtime weekends
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment & communicate professionally with coworkers and customers
- Organized with a strong attention to detail and capable of working with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Willingness to operate within a schedule that is subject to inclement weather conditions
- Must be able to pass a background and drug and alcohol screening
- Must have a clean driving record
The Field Service Technician candidate should be a proven experienced professional with a minimum of 1 year of experience in cable installation. In addition the candidate should exhibit excellent leadership organizational time management and communication skills. In short we are looking for outstanding candidates.
Physical activities include but are not limitedtoclimbing stooping kneeling crouching reaching standing walking and lifting/pulling/pushing up to 80 pounds.
