Position Title: Follow on Development (FOD) Program Manager
Provides program management support in support of the full acquisition lifecycle of the F35 program to include development production and sustainment. The FOD Program Manager supports the F35 Joint Program Office Air Vehicle Program Management Office in its mission in providing lifecycle cost schedule and performance of aircraft avionics sensors weapons integration and modifications in the F35 Lightning II Enterprise.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Air Vehicle (AV) Program Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the following (duties not all inclusive):
- Assist AV PMO in providing development production modifications and retrofit and sustainment of the AV.
- Pilot Flight Equipment (PFE) assist AV PMO in managing the requirements development testing qualification and sustainment of BelowtheNeck F35 PFE.
- Helmet Mounted Display System (HMDS) assist AV PMO in managing the development procurement and sustainment of F35 HMDS.
- F35 Block 4 Modernization assist AV PMO in providing airborne systems capable of operating effectively in highly contested battle spaces now and in the foreseeable future.
- Development Foundation Contract (DFC) assist AV PMO in providing manpower and material support to the Integrated Test Force (ITFs) (FTW NAS Patuxent River and Edwards AFB) as well as the FTW and Supplier labs to enable F35 Development Sustainment and Production efforts.
- Developmental Test Viability (DTV) assist AV PMO in providing life limiting modification and Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) sustainment support for the Developmental Test fleet aircraft to enable Block 3 and Block 4 testing.
Knowledge and Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business Management or related discipline and 6 years of experience in program management technical or business analysis discipline; and included in the 6 years there must be at least 4 years of professional experience related to analysis and planning; and included in the 4 years there must be 2 years professional experience in technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development. May substitute an Associates Degree with 10 years of experience.
- At least 2 years in support of a Major Defense Acquisition Program. Demonstrated experience in the program/project status and schedules.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Service and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS life cycle management of military acquisition programs (as specified in the DoD 5000 series).
- Must have experience processing program acquisition funding and contract documentation for military aircraft programs both domestic and international.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience dealing with DoD reporting tools and major reports.
