Staff Nurse Ward
Shrewsbury Ward 12 Month Fixed Term full or Part time considered Includes weekend work.
Up to 32500 depending on skills and experience
Weekend and Night enhancements
37.5 hours per week

As a Staff Nurse on the Elective Surgical Ward at our Shrewsbury Hospital youll drive the standard in patient care. Youre registered with the appropriate governing body plus you bring the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration including NMC. You also have postregistration experience.
As a Ward Staff Nurse you will:
Be flexible motivated an excellent communicator and team worker
Join a closeknit team headed by our matron on our consultantled ward
Fully understand and pay close attention to each patients needs
Work directly with some of the best clinical talent around
Gain valuable experience of new practices equipment and facilities
Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care

Shrewsbury hospital ranked as Good in the last CQC inspection is purpose built and well equipped with 30 ensuite bedrooms 3 operating theatres an endoscopy suite an Ambulatory Care ward Unit and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes Xray Ultrasound MRI and CT facilities.
We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matronled nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics ophthalmology and womens health but also undertake general surgery urology and interventions for chronic pain management.
