Job Description:
Raytheon is looking for highly motivated individuals to help us succeed in any domain against any challenge for a safer more connected world. As a Production Assembler / Test Technician for the ElectroOptical Distributed Aperture System (EODAS) factory your job will be to verify the functionality and quality of next generation technology for F35 pilots and warfighters. You will be required to work closely with assembly technicians and engineers.
What You Will Do:
- A variety of tasks including setting up tests reporting test results troubleshooting test failures and performing special projects as needed.
- The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for 8 hours a day is required.
- Ability to work weekends and/or overtime as required.
- Location: McKinney TX (no relocation offered)
- Shift: 2nd; Start time: 2 pm Stop time: 11:30 pm
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience specifically as an assembler or in product testing.
- Experience reading and following test instructions including technical drawings and/or testing process documents
- Factory experience with electrical test machines / equipment
- U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Ability to train others in testing processes once certified.
- Experience using shop floor management software such as Composable Manufacturing System (CMES) SAP or similar.
- Technical certificate or associates degree is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail running tests and with documentation
- Experience working with minimal supervision and SelfMotivated
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment running multiple electrical test machines or equipment simultaneously.
- Ability to obtain government clearance.
- Experience using PPE clean room a plus
