Job Description

Rumford Community Home is seeking a per diem Dietary Aide/Cook to join our team!
Starting pay is $18.00.
Education and experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to read write and follow directions.
- 13 years cooking experience.
- Experience cooking in a healthcare setting preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide each resident with a wellbalanced diet per diet plan executed by the Director of Personal Care Services and approved by the Dietitian.
- Provide nutritionally balanced snacks and nourishments between meals and at bedtime.
- Assists in the preparation of meals and snacks as directed by the Charge Cook or Director of Personal Care Services.
- Use appropriate infection control technique in the handling of food.
- Assists in washing dishes following meal service.
