Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safetyconscious Industrial Maintenance Technician to support the installation maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and systems. This role works closely with the Engineering team to ensure equipment operates efficiently and reliably in a manufacturing or processing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Comply with all company and OSHA safety regulations and procedures.
Collaborate with Engineering to install test and release new equipment.
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment including conveyors pumps motors gearboxes and control systems.
Utilize CMMS to document maintenance activities and track equipment performance.
Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems and industrial networking (EtherNet/IP ControlNet DeviceNet).
Diagnose and resolve issues related to AC drives motors encoders and resolvers.
Calibrate flow level pressure and temperature instrumentation and control loops.
Read and interpret technical drawings blueprints schematics manuals and machine diagnostics.
Conduct inspections of equipment to identify wear damage or potential failure points.
Use hoists lifts welding equipment grinders and hand/power tools to perform repairs.
Support the operation and maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Assist with the rebuild and overhaul of equipment as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or processing environment.
Strong knowledge of PLCs drives and industrial automation systems.
Familiarity with DCS architecture and control systems.
Proficient with reading and understanding schematics and technical documentation.
Ability to safely use a variety of tools and equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Environment:
This position involves physical activity including climbing lifting kneeling and working in industrial environments. PPE may be required.
