Job Description
TES Staffing has partnered with a trusted leader in commercial flooring based in Rochester NY and we are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to oversee multiple active job sites including a flagship hospital project and several smaller commercial builds. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in the field has exceptional organizational skills and can confidently manage the moving parts of multiple projects at once.
Youll be responsible for project planning scheduling communication with clients and contractors and onsite quality assurance. While direct flooring experience is a plus its not requiredwhat is required is a solid background in commercial construction and a sharp understanding of how to keep projects on time and on budget. Experience working with or for general contractors is highly preferred. Residentialonly backgrounds need not apply.
Schedule & Compensation:
WorkLife Balance: Monday through Friday schedule no weekends required
Competitive Pay: Starting at $80000 based on experience and qualifications
Onboarding Support: 90day rampup period with guidance and support to set you up for success
Key Responsibilities:
Manage commercial flooring installations from start to finish ensuring timelines budgets and quality standards are met
Visit job sites regularly including a highprofile hospital project and various commercial builds throughout the region
Coordinate with general contractors subcontractors and internal crews
Maintain organized project documentation schedules and communication logs
Proactively identify and troubleshoot project issues
Communicate regularly with clients and internal teams to provide updates and manage expectations
Oversee material deliveries labor scheduling and site logistics
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience in commercial construction project management (minimum 3 years)
Strong organizational and time management skillsyoull be juggling several projects at once
Excellent communication skills both in the field and with internal stakeholders
Experience working with general contractors or as one yourself is a big plus
Familiarity with construction documents drawings and specs
Comfortable navigating dynamic fastpaced job sites
Flooring experience is a bonus but not required
Must be local to the Rochester area or willing to relocate
