Job Description
CNC Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Chef/Cook to join a thriving private sports facility located just outside the historic town of Sherborne. With a strong community of over 600 members and a busy calendar of events this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic peoplefocused environment where no two days are the same.
You will take charge of the kitchen designing and delivering a daily breakfast and lunch menu while also catering for bespoke private dining events. Youll enjoy consistent pay throughout the year regardless of seasonal fluctuations in working hours:
Paid for 40 hours/week
Summer (AprOct): Typically 45 hours/week
Winter (NovMar): Typically 35 hours/week
Shifts remain sociable rarely running past 9 p.m. even during peak season.

Salary:per year
Schedule: 8hour shifts Flexitime 5 days over 7 (weekend work essential)
Requirements
- Deliver highquality meals in both bar and dining room settings
- Plan and manage daily menus in line with club expectations
- Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety standards are met
- Assist with stock ordering and manage food storage
- Supervise a parttime chef (approx. 25 hrs/week) during larger events
What Were Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years catering experience
- Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene
- Ability to manage a kitchen and handle highvolume service 100 covers/day)
- A flexible teamoriented individual with a customerfirst mindset
