Purpose of Role
Purpose: Provide tutoring for peers in select biology and/or chemistry courses.
About This Opportunity
Joining our Academic Support and Engagement team the 121 Nursing Academic Coach will be responsible for the following:
- Participate in training.
- Meet with students oneonone or in small groups via Zoom or face to face.
- Complete detailed session report forms in timely manner.
- Communicate with Director of Academic Support and Engagement and instructors of courses. coaching to assist in meeting students needs.
- Reliability in showing up on time for sessions and checking Daemen email account for communication from students Director and instructors.
- $15.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in Daemen Universitys 121 Nursing Program.
- Must have been recommended by faculty member in the program.
