Job Description
Position Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Developer with strong experience in Oracle Forms and SQL to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining enhancing and supporting enterprise applications. Experience with Java JavaScript and is a strong advantage and will be leveraged in modernizing legacy systems and developing new solutions.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Design develop test and deploy applications using Oracle Forms and SQL.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Maintain and enhance existing Oracle Forms applications ensuring performance and reliability.
Write efficient SQL queries procedures and functions for application logic and data management.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities for application enhancements.
Assist in modernizing legacy applications using Java JavaScript and (as needed).
Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Prepare and maintain documentation for code processes and procedures.
Ensure adherence to established organizational processes standards and best practices.
Effectively collaborate with and contribute to a geographically dispersed team.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Proven experience with Oracle Forms development.
Strong command of SQL with experience writing complex queries and PL/SQL.
Experience in application development lifecycle and best practices.
Ability to analyze and resolve technical problems effectively.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills (Bonus):
Experience with Java for backend services or integration.
Knowledge of JavaScript and frontend frameworks particularly .
Exposure to modern development practices and tools (Git CI/CD etc..
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Education & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
3 years of relevant development experience.
