Job Description
- Deliver engaging studentcentered therapy sessions tailored to diverse communication needs.
- Maintain detailed and confidential records of therapy sessions progress notes and IEP documentation.
- Contribute to IEP development and participate in multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for student progress.
- Provide training and guidance to educators and families on fostering communication skills at school and home.
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities and determine appropriate interventions.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans to support speech language and communication development.
- Work closely with teachers parents and school staff to integrate effective communication strategies into daily routines.
- Stay uptodate on best practices and advancements in speechlanguage pathology through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- ASHA certification is desirable.
- Possess an active Speech Pathology license in Georgia.
- Hold a Masters Degree in a Communication Disorderrelated field.
