Job Summary:
The Dump Truck Driver Class B is responsible for operating heavyduty trucks for transporting materials to and from project sites.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operates and maneuvers Class B dump trucks to transport construction materials between sites.
- Loads and unloads materials efficiently ensuring proper distribution and securing of the load.
- Adheres to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the dump truck.
- Conducts pretrip and posttrip inspections to ensure the vehicles safety and report any issues promptly.
- Maintains effective communication with construction site supervisors and other team members to coordinate material deliveries and pickups.
- Performs routine maintenance on the dump truck such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure and ensuring overall vehicle functionality.
- Keeps accurate records of deliveries mileage and any incidents that may occur during transportation.
- Addresses and resolves any issues that may arise during transportation such as traffic delays or mechanical problems while keeping supervisors informed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of experience as a Class B dump truck driver in a construction or related industry is required.
- Must possess a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
Physical Requirements:
- Visual acuity to follow hand signals maintain logs and inspect and maintain machinery.
- Active physical work involving occasionally; lifting 50 lbs) carrying pushing pulling stooping kneeling crouching bending reaching.
- Frequently walking standing driving and operating equipment for extended periods.
- Requires focus adjustment depth perception and clear close & distant vision.
- Requires regular use of hands to finger handle feel or operate objects tools or controls and reach with hands and arms.
- Requires regular use of eyes shoulders & neck to monitor vehicle mirrors & backup camera.
- Must be able to work in all weather types including extreme hot and cold temperatures.
