The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Flight Line Cabin Systems Team Lead (Level C) to join our 787 Program Boeing South Carolina (BSC) delivery Center Operations team in North Charleston South Carolina on 2nd shift.
In this role you will plan schedule and arrange activities for the BSC Flight line. You will also perform and provide necessary coaching to support activity of the following:
Flight test installations and functional testing. Troubleshoot pneumatic hydraulic electrical and avionics systems to isolate mechanical or electrical/electronic faults and repairs faulty components. Conducts preflight and postflight checks and performs maintenance and modification actions. Resolves problems during operation and testing of deliverable products. Performs system and subsystem predelivery inspections and aircraft maintenance in preparation for delivery. Documents repair test and inspection results.

Builds effective resource plans that support SOW and landmark completion with team and crew coordination
Identifies and communicates risks to First Line Leader with efficiency
Monitors and reports daily progress to plan across multiple functions
Works with support organizations and First Line Leader to mitigate performance risk
Documents and communicates shift turnover
Establishes overtime requirements plan and staffing
Responsible for crew level oversight of 5S
Support teammates to improve their job performance including identifying training
Verifies accuracy of work performed and may conduct selfinspection
Ability and professionalism in support of airline customer interaction
Identifies KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and LMS Kaizen improvement actions and follows up with actions and tasks associated at weekly Kamishibai and Gemba walks
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. US Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
1 years of Aerospace Fabrication or Manufacturing experience
1 years of experience with operations process involving the 787 airplane program
1 years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook PowerPoint Excel and Word
1 years of experience with Velocity and other 787 production applications
1 years of experience with IVT
Must have the ability to attain and/or maintain certifications to perform the job
Must be able to work 2nd shift
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
FAA Airframe & PowerPlant license
Team Lead experience
3 months of experience with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk
Familiar with Boeing Production System
Experience with Field/Flight Line Operations
