Whats your day like

As a FullTime Warehouse Assistant Dispatcher at Viking CocaCola you will be the linchpin of our logistics operations! This thrilling position involves printing load summaries for all crews and drivers while troubleshooting any logistics challenges that arise ensuring seamless load management. Youll coordinate with the Fleet for vehicle maintenance after hours and maintain meticulous tracking of trailer locations. Your analytical skills will be put to the test as you ensure trucks are loaded within weight restrictions and DOT hours complying with all transportation laws.

Additionally you will plan and communicate loading for new accounts assist with rerouting and support the Dispatch Manager. Your role will be essential in problem resolution making each day an exciting blend of teamwork challenges and professional growth all while participating in training for your continued success!

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required along with 13 years of experience in Warehouse or Logistics showcasing your familiarity with the industry. Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail are vital allowing you to thrive in our fastpaced environment.

You should be adept at multitasking while maintaining professionalism as communication with all levels of the organization is key. Basic math and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office are necessary with a willingness to learn new software as the job demands. Additionally having the ability to make solid analytical decisions will ensure that you effectively address logistics issues.

While not mandatory certification to operate a forklift is a plus as the right skills will set you up for success and growth in this exciting role!

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
