AGL is responsible for fulfillment operations spend across Amazon Fresh (FCs & Stores) Whole Foods Market and Grocery Partnerships. Our Finance teams partner closely with our operations teams to influence the strategic direction of the business drive operations excellence and make sound investment and expansion decisions with the primary goal of continuously improving the customer experience while driving longterm profitability for our portfolio of businesses. Our teams experiment fail fast learn and scale rapidly while maintaining a datadriven decisionmaking culture.
We are looking for a highly effective Sr Financial Analyst to be a key member of the Grocery Operations Finance Team in the space of Last mile delivery operations for Grocery Partnerships. The team is responsible for financial management of Delivery and Packaging costs.
This role partners closely with a broad range of global finance and business leaders across retail and operations teams in order to design develop and maintain performance measurements and reports on strategic input drivers to continuously improve the economics of the business.
The successful candidate will influence business owners support thoughtful decisionmaking and adapt to a rapidlyevolving environment. They collaborate with executives and various business units across Amazon. They bring excellent verbal and written communication skills. They prioritize the most impactful projects and programs that will drive Amazon Grocery forward.
Key job responsibilities
Serve as the key Finance partner working directly with Grocery Operations finance and business teams to provide financial information and support
Own the Financial management of US Grocery Partnership Delivery operations and lead shortterm and longterm financial planning for the business unit
Develop high quality datadriven financial analyses that drive business insights and support informed decisionmaking by senior stakeholders
Partner with stakeholders including Operations Accounting and Finance Technology to identify opportunities and business requirements for financial systems process improvement and technology innovation/automation
Lead in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial reviews

A typical day in this role provides an opportunity own up to accurate visibility of key Delivery metrics innovate by constantly looking around corners for cost optimization without compromising on quality identifying the highpriority work and projects that maximize results for key stakeholders and solving complex problems that effect companywide strategic decisions.

3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelors degree
Knowledge of Tableau
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
