Wilkes University invites applicants for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Chemistry in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry beginning Fall 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching courses in the organic chemistry sequence as well as additional topics courses in their area of expertise.
Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate education and must explicitly describe how they plan to establish a successful research program involving undergraduates. A Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field is required. Effective teaching mentoring and advising are expected of all faculty members at Wilkes. Service to the University and the community as well as scholarly activities support the studentcentered core.
