Job Description
Amazons Advertising Technology team builds the technology infrastructure and ad serving systems to manage billions of advertising queries every day. The result is better quality advertising for publishers and more relevant ads for customers. Amazon Publisher Services (APS) helps publishers of all sizes and on all channels better monetize their content through effective advertising. APS unites publishers with advertisers across devices and media channels. We work with Amazon teams across the globe to solve complex problems for our customers. The end results are Amazon products that let publishers focus on what they do best publishing.
Amazon Publisher Cloud (APC) is a gamechanging new service that operates at the intersection of advertising secure signal collaboration and cloud services.
The full stack engineer will also help architect and provide guidance on building EndtoEnd system optimized for low latency high transactional scale and processing petabytes of data. Successful members of this team collaborate effectively with crossfunctional software development teams and engineering teams to solve problems and deliver successfully against high operational standards of system availability and reliability. We look for engineers who are excellent communicators selfmotivated flexible hardworking and who like to move fast.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle including coding standards software architectures code reviews source control management continuous deployments testing and operational excellence
Experience working on Big Data Technologies like Elastic Map Reduce (EMR) and Spark

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
