The American Red Cross is seeking a bilingual (English Spanish) detailoriented and selfmotivated senior manager for digital content strategy with a focus on the Biomedical Services website and app (Blood Donor App). This fully remote position will lead content strategy and implementation across Red Cross digital platforms with the goal of enhancing and optimizing a visitors journey and into the conversion funnel. Additionally in the first 1224 months of this role a large portion of time will be dedicated to serving as the POC for content as part of an organizationalwide website redesign initiative including content migration and translation while continuing to own all daytoday duties within the current platforms. The candidate will also be responsible for managing all inapp content including items such as promotions badges feature updates and more. The candidate will need to possess strong organizational skills and deep experience with content strategy as well as content implementation. This role will report to the Director of Digital Marketing.

Salary Range: 100k105k

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Key Responsibilities:

Project and People Management

  • Manage and implement web content strategy and migration as part of a large organizationalwide website redesign project for .
    • Serve as the POC and project manager for content migration and multilanguage translation requirements as well as being handson in the implementation and optimization before during and after launch.
    • Develop and manage contentrelated project milestones timelines resources and requirements when implementing content into new frameworks.
    • Provide data and analytics to support content strategy decisions and organizational needs when considering user journeys page components SEO and web best practices.
    • Assist with content migration from one CMS into the next and complete content QA with a focus on the multilingual experience.
  • Drive innovation and optimization many times serve as a project manager across both web and app platforms for items like web journeys (deep linking) and additional content and component enhancements.
  • Serve as accessibility lead and liaison performing regular content audits to ensure the site remains accessible to all visitors. Project manage updates that need to be met to achieve maximum accessibility across and Blood Donor App.

Content Strategy and Management

  • In partnership with marketing and engagement teams craft compelling web and app content that drives engagement and conversions supporting blood product donations and lead generation efforts.
    • Own and manage all web and inapp content requests and processes as part of the larger content strategy for and Blood Donor App. This includes working with crossfunctional teams (engagement product marketing) leading discovery sessions identifying content requirements and objectives wireframing content development (writing content and imagery selection) content implementation and QA. This role is responsible for ensuring all parties are at the table moving content forward with both speed and thoughtfulness.
    • Implementing web and app content requests via Adobe Experience Manager (CMS) with a focus on Spanish and multilanguage and bringing them to life via the web and app. Ensure all content upholds brand standards and adheres to SEO and web best practices.
  • Oversee the creative and copy development of promotional areas of web and app including the web homepage banners and mobile app promo areas as well managing the updates related to T&C that are updated frequently.
  • Responsible for running continuous web and app tests that provide clear insights to help direct content strategy and drive donation appointments.

Data Analysis and Optimization

  • Responsible for analyzing and reporting in partnership with other teams web performance metrics including assessing engagement lead generation conversion rates and SEO performance for campaigns and across the blood product donor experience.
  • Translate analytic insights into recommend optimizations for content collaborating with the digital engagement team to establish KPIs and create reporting dashboards for continuous insights.

Cross Functional Training & Documentation

  • Train stakeholders on processes and best practices for digital content.
  • Develop efficient processes and documentation to help guide large groups of stakeholders through the content request and implementation process to ensure consistency and ease of enablement.

Additional duties may be assigned as the discretion of the Director Digital Marketing.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD:

  • Experience with content management systems Adobe Experience Manager strongly preferred experience with Spanishlanguage sites a plus

  • Analytical mindset with experience in web analytics Adobe Analytics preferred and the ability to leverage data to drive improvements.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • 4year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in communications English or equivalent field required
  • Minimum 610 years of related experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in digital marketing with a focus on web/digital content and experience
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong teamwork collaboration and ability to work with crossfunctional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required
  • Must perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal State and local regulations
  • Travel will be required up to 20.

*Combination of candidates education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to descriptions minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

The work environment will consist of moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers phones and printers light traffic). The employee must have the ability to work in asmall cubicle andhave the ability tosit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.
