Under the direction of the Associate Vice President of Organizational Development and Effectiveness (AVP) this position manages the various programs operated through the Office of CAPE the Center for Academic and Professional Excellence including but not limited to professional development events workshop events new employee onboarding and offboarding service excellence program.
The incumbent assists the AVP with ensuring the unit goals and objectives are accomplished efficiently and effectively. Under the leadership of the AVP the incumbent may provide guidance to the CAPE staff and may work closely with the AVP to help train coach and recognize employees. The incumbent may provide feedback to the AVP on the daytoday performance of CAPE staff. Under the direction of the AVP the incumbent manages CAPEs workflow projects programs events and performance items to achieve the unit goals successfully.
In addition the incumbent conducts need assessments designs curriculum facilitates workshops live and online and evaluates programs and learning for all employees. The incumbent will work closely with the AVP to evolve the strategic direction of CAPE and expand CAPEs learning and development opportunities for all faculty and staff.
The Program Manager values the unique and various attributes of the CSN employee and student community to help provide a connection between the employee and CSN. The incumbent builds and nurtures relationships to create connecting and collaborative partnerships with all levels of the institution and fosters a learning culture and community for all faculty and staff.
