The Director of Athletics is a critical member of the schools Executive Leadership Team serving in a fulltime 12month) capacity. Reporting to the Assistant Head of School the Director shares responsibility for the schools educational leadership alongside the Executive Leadership Team. They engage with a wide range of stakeholders including coaches faculty/staff students families the school community and the Board of Trustees to develop and implement the schools athletics program.
The Director of Athletics is responsible for several key areas. These include ensuring MVCs mission vision and values are reflected through the athletic program fostering a positive overall culture and climate and ensuring studentathlete development in collaboration with other teams at MVC. Additionally the Director prioritizes professional development for themself and the entire coaching staff. Community engagement compliance with regulations and ensuring the future health of the athletic program are also crucial aspects of this position.

Employee understands and acknowledges that unless otherwise defined by applicable law any employment relationship with MVC is of an at will nature which means that the Employee may resign at any time and the Employer may discharge Employee at any time with or without cause. It is further understood that this at will employment relationship may not be changed by any written document or by conduct unless the MVC Head of School specifically acknowledges such change in writing.
