Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accept or reject work accomplished for all items generated on the inspection forms.
Responsible for the surveillance of all work in progress.
Assure that all work inspected is in accordance with current FAA approved technical data.
Assure that all routine nonroutine and customer request work cards are correctly completed and properly signed off.
Verify calibrated tooling used is current.
Assist the Director of Maintenance Maintenance Manager and Chief Inspector to ensure health and safety practices are followed.
This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to submit to preemployment and periodic DOT regulations for drug and alcohol testing.
Responsible for the release to service for work performed.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Lead Inspector.
Education and Experience:
Must have an Airframe & Power Plant (A & P) License.
Must have a minimum of three 3 years experience utilizing A & P License.
H.S. diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check verification of credentials and a urinary preemployment test for as per the DOT regulations.
Skills and Abilities:
Attention to detail is imperative.
Must be able to multitask.
Must be efficient with a desire to succeed.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must be able to wear and breathe through a fullface respirator.
May be exposed to hazardous chemicals that require the use of safety equipment.
Must be able to bend stoop kneel stand for prolonged periods of time and climb ladders stands and operate manlifts.
Must be comfortable with heights and confined spaces.
Normal or Corrected Hearing.
Visual acuity must be a minimum of 20/40 corrected.
Must be able to access all areas of the aircraft.
