Job Description
General Information:
Job title: Longterm Care Certified Nursing Assistant
Location: Fair View Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Mauston WI
Shifts Available:
- Parttime 1 72 hours per pay period; PM shift with Night Shift Weekends
- Fulltime 80 hours per pay period; PM Shift 2:00pm10:30pm
- Parttime 2 16 hours per pay period; NOC Shift 10:00pm6:30am
Weekend rotation: Shifts include every other weekend weekend and night shift differentials available
Holiday rotation: Holiday rotation
Position Summary:
Performs resident functions in accordance to nursing home standards of practice.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provides for residents personal hygiene: gives bedpans urinals baths backrubs shampoos and shaves and assists with showers.
- Provides for activities of daily living: assists with meals and feeds patients; ambulates turns and positions patients; provides fresh water and nourishment between meals.
- Performs I&O checks vital signs and weight; assists with specimen collection; and postmortem care.
- Provides for comfort needs of residents
- Promptly answers residents call lights and requests.
- Other duties are requested within scope of practice
Position Requirements:
Required Education:
- Successful completion of nursing assistant course
- Certified Nursing Assistant Certification to practice in the state
