The UHealth System at the University of Miami has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Environmental Services Technician to work in our University of Miami Hospital.
CORE JOB SUMMARY
The Environmental Services Technician (U) performs cleaning functions to maintain a sanitary safe and orderly condition throughout the facility.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Follows established cleaning methods and procedures in performing cleaning duties.
2. Uses only cleaning supplies and chemicals that have been approved by management.
3. Adheres to guidelines for fire and general safety waste disposal dress code and patient information.
4. Reports areas in need of special cleaning or repairs to appropriate supervisor.
5. Assists in the maintenance of equipment and organization of supplies.
6. Adheres to University and unitlevel policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent
Work Experience:
In lieu of education: Oneyear experience as a housekeeper in the hotel/ motel commercial/ industrial sanitation or health care related field.
