Position Summary: Provide instruction classes labs clinicals within specific programs; assist academic administrators with curriculum development student advising/counseling; enhance program enrollment; provide college and community services.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Effectively deliver assigned classes supervise clinicals and perform other programspecific responsibilities in accordance with College loading policy and course objectives.
- Develop and maintain course outlines syllabi lesson plans assignments tests and other course materials.
- Maintain student records attendance grades documentation required for accreditation agencies and or other documentation as required.
- Maintain a safe quality classroom and lab including equipment supplies inventory and maintenance.
- Provide academic advising for registration.
- Maintain regular posted office hours for student interaction each week.
- Support Program Chair in program management activities.
- Participate in professional development or scholarly activities that may include inservice course or seminars to advance instructional and technical skills as well as knowledge within the field of study.
- Serve and participate in campus regional and collegewide professional and community activities committee meetings and task forces.
- Participate in student recognition ceremonies. Maintain budget requirements.
- Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction.
The above listed functions require various degrees of independence judgment and discretion and the ability to be mobile in the office and/or work area. May lift up to fifteen 15 pounds occasionally. Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution; is a Registered Nurse licensed in Indiana and has two 2 years of directly related work experience required.
