Overview
Position:Physical Therapist Assistant Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: 20577 Amberfield Dr Land O Lakes Florida 34638
Schedule: Part Time Mon Fri. Center Hours: MonThurs 77 Fri 75
Compensation: $26/hr $30/hr. Starting hourly rate calculated by experience.
Select Physical Therapy is now hiring a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a Part Time outpatient opportunity up to 24 hours weekly. Experienced PTA with minimum of 1 yr experience in outpatient orthopedics APPLY! Join our team treating general outpatient orthopedic conditions (nonop preop postop) neuro vestibular concussion sports medicine amputees fall prevention and ACL. Lets foster your growth!
Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement with minimal supervision high quality physical therapy services for patients caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Minimum 1 yr experience working in outpatient orthopedics.
- Valid State Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License (or license in process)
- CPR Certification
