Course Description: Work experience opportunities help students expand their skills and understanding of the fields of Information Design and Communications. In year 3 of the program students are required to complete one work experience (minimum of 450 hours over a 12week period) in a related field.
SPRING INFOInformation Design Work Experience WKT
Masters degree min. in Information Design or related discipline required.
A min. three years industry or professional experience.
Capacity to work cooperatively across multiple sections of a course.
Coursespecific experience required:
Demonstrated experience and relationships with MRUbased studentfocused career supports.

The Faculty of Business Communication Studies & Aviation comprises the Bissett School of Business the School of Communication Studies and the Aviation Program. The Bissett School of Business offers a fouryear Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with majors in accounting human resources general management (with concentrations in innovation and entrepreneurship social innovation). Students in the Bissett School of Business can take a fouryear Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. The Aviation Program is housed in the Department of International Business Supply Chain and Aviation and offers a twoyear Aviation Diploma and the newly launched fouryear Bachelor of Aviation Management. Students in the School of Communications Studies take a fouryear Bachelor of Communication Studies (BComms) and can pursue majors in Broadcast Media Studies Information Design Journalism and Public addition to the two degrees and their majors students are offered a variety of minors concentrations and certificates to complement their major.
