Job Title:Endoscopy Assistant / GI Technician

Location & commitments
Fulltime based at our Greenville (other) location in the Quadrangle Endoscopy Center MondayFriday 7:30a.m. 4:30 p.m.
Overtime may be required to ensure patients are taken care of tasks are completed and calls are returned in a timely manner.
Supervision Received:Reports to Charge Nurse Clinical Supervisor Operations Manager; Director of Operations.
Supervision Exercised:None.
Typical Physical Demands:Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients manual and finger dexterity and eyehand coordination. Frequent standing and walking or other means of mobility for extended periods of time. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires normal visual acuity. Requires exposure to bodily fluids.
Typical Working Conditions: Frequentexposure to communicable diseases toxic substances ionizing radiation medicinal preparations and other conditions common to clinic environment.
About the role:
Responsible for maintaining and management of the endoscopy equipment and the general cleanliness of the entire until. Assists with patient care. Provides limited pre and postprocedure patient care/clinical tasks under the supervision of an RN or LPN. Occasionally performing clerical functions as requested.
