You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailA Specialty Trainer will take direction and assist instructors with the facilitation of classroom activities and technical operational and/or specialty training events. Applicants will share their knowledge and expertise defined by fields of expertise/certification. Qualified applicants will participate in educational/training needs assessments skills practicing and student completion of the program.
When accepting an assignment as a specialty trainer individuals may not lead said course.
Assist in the achievement of course curriculum goals and objectives.Delivers group and individual instruction and training.
Assess student performance and provide immediate feedback to successfully meet course objectives. advise students on successfully meeting course objectives
Evaluates effectiveness of training and development programs. Utilizes relevant evaluation data for feedback and recommendations to enhance instructional objectives and methods.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical Diploma in an EMSrelated fieldAND2 years 4000 hours* of relevant occupational experience.
EMS Instructor I OR the ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
PLUS
CurrentEMT BasicWI State licenseANDAmerican Heart Association BLS License for healthcare providers
OR
CurrentEMT ParamedicWI State licenseANDAmerican Heart Association BLS License for healthcare providers PLUS American Heart Association ACLSLicense
Preferred:
Current PALS Instructor license (American Heart Association)
Current BLS Instructor license (American Heart Association)
Current ACLSInstructor license (American Heart Association)
Other skills knowledge and abilities:
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available.
