Advisors Insurance Brokers (a New York Long Term Care Brokers LLC and Integrity Marketing Group company) is a Brokerage General Agency (BGA) in the Life LongTerm Care Income Protection Insurance and Annuity (among other lines) space. The Agencys guiding goal is to provide high quality timely accurate sales driven support to our affiliated producers.
Job Summary
The Life Insurance Case Manager will provide proactive service in ushering pending Life Insurance applications through the new business and issuance process after their submission to AIB .
Primary Responsibilities:
Receive and review new insurance applications for missing information i.e. forms signatures policy criteria etc prior to submission to the insurance carrier
Conduct regular followups via phone & email (from carrier reports) for status of all outstanding requirements.
Organize and prioritize workload to ensure timely case processing and communication
Maintain internal logs on processing activities and communications
Follow up with affiliated insurance agents for their responses to needed information forms etc.
Communicate other than applied for decisions to insurance agents and internal medical underwriters.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service attitude and demeanor
Ability to manage time independently
Ability to work in selfdirected fashion
Proficiency with MS office products and strong keyboard skills
Customer service experience or 1 to 2 years of life insurance sales experience can be considered. Life Insurance Case Management experience is especially attractive.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Familiarity with agent contract/licensing especially with NIPR SureLC software highly desired
Strong knowledge of the general agent and broker commission process also desired
