Job Description
Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Systems Engineer IV to join our team in Groton CT.

Predicate Logic also has offices in Chesapeake Virginia specializing in communications engineering training and Cybersecurity and in Charleston South Carolina supporting the Navy and Marine Corps programs through Naval Information Warfare Center Charleston.
SECURITY CLEARANCE:
- Applicant must be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the planning design and evaluation of missioncritical multilevel secure Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems.
- Conduct research to solve complex problems and provide input for future modernization efforts.
- Resolve difficult interoperability problems between integrated communications stations and production networks.
- May work in a lab environment to test system designs and provide test report feedback.
- Participate in Engineering reviews as required.
- Provide technical representation at meetings with senior staff as required in support of designated Operating Authority systems.
EXPERIENCE:
- Ten 10 years of professional experience in systems engineering.
- Indepth knowledge of network architectures and associated equipment including but not limited to zones screening devices and typical design.
- Familiarity with direct attached and networkattached storage devices protocols and techniques to include iSCSI.
Understanding of Virtual Machines (VM) and knowledge of VM configurations. - The ability to rapidly conceptualize/understand systems architecture is necessary.
- Naval systems engineering technical reviews.
- Drafting Naval system engineering documents.
- Coordination of systems test and evaluation.
- Experience in enterprise architecture in establishing an organizations IT infrastructure maintaining and updating IT hardware software and services to ensure it supports established enterprise goals.
EDUCATION:
- Masters level degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
