Job Description
Responsibilities
Peraton Labs is seeking aTechnical GotoMarket Lead to develop and implement a GotoMarket strategy for a R&D (Research and Development) prototype developed by Peraton Labs with DARPA funding. The selected individual will be responsible for working with the technical team to develop an understanding of the prototype system and its differentiators studying the market and the competition identifying promising government as well as commercial customers and engaging with these customers to develop qualified leads.
The prototype R&D system is a nextgeneration AIenabled networking Command and Control (C2 system that automates network configuration monitoring and security based on highlevel business intent. It has broad applicability beyond the DoD space for enabling rapid and dynamic setup adaptation monitoring and teardown of networks to satisfy business requirements. The Technical GTM Lead will be expected to have sufficient skills to understand the capabilities and differentiators of this prototype study competitors products and develop a pathway as an embedded entrepreneur for productizing the R&D prototype capabilities.
This position can be located either in the Basking Ridge NJ metro area or in the National Capital Region.
The hiring manager will consider a hybrid work arrangement. The selected individual will be expected to travel to customer locations in the U.S. to meet with potential customers and partners.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with a BS in Computer Science or related field; 6 years of experience with a MS; 3 years of experience with a Ph.D.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing successful gotomarket strategies for technology products.
- Experience in and established relationships working with one or more of the following: U.S. Army U.S. Air Force U.S. Navy U.S. Marine Corps to include knowledge of/experience with DoD requirements programming budgeting and acquisition processes.
- Solid understanding of computer networking concepts protocols and technologies with ability to quickly grasp and articulate complex technical concepts.
- Dynamic selfstarter with strong attention to detail strong work ethic strategic thinking with respect to customer needs competitive positioning and the ability to prioritize in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills that ensure collaborative and trusting relationships with all levels of the organization including executive leadership and technical experts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop and deliver executivelevel presentations.
- The ability to travel 25 of the year to meet with potential customers and partners.
- A Current/Active DOD Secret clearance is required for this position.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven track record of successfully launching new products or services.
- Experience in taking an R&D product to market.
- Experience in working for a startup at a senior level.
- Advanced degree in a business or technical discipline.
