Relief Care Supervisor

McCarthy Stone are recruiting for a professional Relief Care Supervisor to join the team at ourprestigious Corbett Court developmentbased in Burgess Hill West Sussex.

Built in 2013 Corbett Courtis a Retirement Living Plus development that consists of 56apartments with the over 70s in mind providing excellent onsite facilities andset within beautiful grounds.

Hourly rate: 12.24 per hour day rate and 14.51 per hourSLEEPINGnight rate. Plus receive an extra 1 for every hour worked from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday

Hours: To cover shifts on an as and when basis when required tobe discussed with the developmentManager.

Our day shifts vary between 08:45 and 16:30 or between 16:15 to 09:30.

Our night shifts are from 21:30 to 09:00am

Our Relief Care Supervisors sleep between 23:00pm and 07:00am providing emergency support only to our homeowners throughout that period.

About you:

• You will live within easy commuting distance of our estate.

• You will be a warm friendly organised and selfmotivated individual with experience of working in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
• You will want to work in the Health and Social care sector and preferably have a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification although consideration will be given to a candidate with an alternative qualifications and relevant experience.
• Keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners and overseeing the Care and Support teams.
• Able to coordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
• Driven to continue to grow their skills and will want to lead by example and think on their feet.
• Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
