Are you a Semi Senior Accountant looking to take the next step in your career We are recruiting on behalf of a growing accountancy practice in Manchester that is expanding its team due to continued business growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced practice accountant to join a dynamic firm manage a varied client portfolio and develop their career in a supportive environment.
The Role:
As a Semi Senior Accountant you will play a key role in providing highquality accounting services to a diverse range of clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of yearend accounts for sole traders partnerships and limited companies under FRS 102 & FRS 105
- Corporation tax computations and assisting with tax planning strategies
- Preparation of VAT returns and liaising with HMRC on client matters
- Assisting with management accounts and cash flow forecasting
- Communicating directly with clients building strong relationships and providing financial insights
- Supporting junior team members and assisting with workflow management
What Were Looking For:
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Experience working in a UK accountancy practice (minimum 2 years)
- Strong knowledge of FRS 102 & FRS 105 and experience preparing yearend accounts
- Experience using accounting software such as Xero QuickBooks Sage or similar
- A proactive and clientfocused approach with strong communication skills
- AAT qualified ACA / ACCA partqualified or QBE (Qualified by Experience)
