Job Description

The Ocean State Academy is a fastgrowing nonpublic special education school dedicated to meeting the needs of a diverse student body from communities throughout Rhode Island. We are looking to add qualified educators. As an energetic and growing school we are eager to add enthusiastic people committed to making a positive impact on youth and our local community to grow with and Responsibilities to include:Providing support to students with behavioral and emotional disorders Consults with parents teachers and school districts to problem solve effective interventionsParticipates in the development of individualized education programming Serves as liaison between the school and community resourcesMaintains clinical record keeping Performs crisis intervention as neededReport to the school Principal and works closely with the Dean of Students in supporting the philosophy of the program and maintaining a climate of academic excellenceActs ethically and with integrity while working with the student populationPlease forward all resumes to
