Job Description
Doyle Security Services Inc. (DSS) is seeking experienced Security Officers in the Princeton NJ area for Special Events.
PAY RATE: $30.00 per hour
SCHEDULES: Day Afternoon Overnight Weekend
TYPE: Special Events
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Monitor access points and conduct thorough security checks
- Crowd management including controlling entry and exit points and ensuring proper flow of attendees
- Provide a safe and welcoming environment for guests and attendees
- Follow access control procedures as directed
- Maintaining exceptional communication hospitality and interpersonal skills
- Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
- Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel visitors and premises.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. Security or related experience or customer service knowledge and college level education can be substituted for work experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid NJ SORA License
- Must be available to work weekends
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills
- Must be able to verbally deescalate situations
- Reliable transportation
