GC Associates requires a Systems Engineer also known as a lead systems analyst network engineer who can also program or software engineer who can also manage networks is an IT professional responsible for overseeing the creation of hybrid software web and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance. These products are often sophisticated systems that run on the web. The Systems Engineer integrates various network operating systems application programs and hardware devices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the development cycle of resilient software hardware and web applications including specification design coding testing and maintenance.
- Integrate various network operating systems application programs and hardware devices.
- Consider the big picture of projects including technical aspects cost schedules and social issues.
- Provide oversight from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance of hybrid products.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of network operating systems application programs and hardware devices.
- Ability to manage the full development cycle of software hardware and web applications.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to consider cost schedules and social issues in project planning and .
Levels and Requirements:
Level II: ENGINEER SYSTEMS JR.
- Education: Bachelors degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Experience: 3 years of professional experience in systems engineering.
Level IV: ENGINEER SYSTEMS SR.
- Education: Masters degree in an Engineering discipline.
- Experience:10 years of professional experience in systems engineering.
