The Department of Engineering Technology at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a fulltime temporary (nontenurable) faculty position #127090 at the rank of lecturer. This is a oneyear temporary appointment. The contract may be renewed annually based on available funding demonstrated need and satisfactory performance as assessed by annual evaluations. The start date for the appointment is August 1 2025.
The successful candidate is expected to teach classes such as Engineering Fundamentals using Matlab PLCs and Project Management.
A masters in engineering technology engineering management or a closely related field is required by the appointment date.
One 1 year of fulltime or parttime professional teaching experience in Matlab or PLCs required by the appointment date.
Applicants with industrial experience will receive special consideration.
