The Survey Technician / Project Manager will play a critical role in the preparation of survey plats and maps including boundary surveys asbuilt surveys topographic surveys utility route surveys and more. This role also includes project management responsibilities construction staking calculations courthouse research and occasional field work.
This is a Long term need and is required to be fully on site.
Travel: 20
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in land surveying or a related role
- Proficient in Civil 3D AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Ability to manage individual projects and communicate with clients
- Strong skills in courthouse research and construction staking calculations
- Strong ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Pluses:
- Licensed as a Land Surveyor in Virginia (or the ability to obtain)
- Experience with OpenRoads GeoPak
- Familiarity with current VDOT survey requirements
