The Opportunity:
As the Performance Nutrition Dietitian you will work within theWSUAthletics Departments Performance Nutrition Program supporting the nutrition wellbeing ofWSUstudentathletes. Your primary duties will include: conducting individual studentathlete performance nutrition and/or medical nutrition therapy consultations developing and implementing the latest research supported performance nutrition and medical nutrition therapy recommendations and conducting individual nutrition related field analysis (i.e. urine specific gravity tests). You will also present on nutrition topics supporting optimal performance healthy body image and longterm wellbeing to studentathletes coaches sports medicine staff and administration.

This is a full time 100 FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $3750.85 $4574.21 Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Positions require a Bachelors degree and two 2 years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. A Masters degree in a related field may substitute for one 1 year of professional work experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a yearforyear basis.
Ability to sit for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Exam within 6 months of hire.
Must have or be able to obtain by time of hire a valid drivers license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two 2 years of work experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.
One 1 year of experience working in a Division I and/or Professional athletics environment.
Two 2 years working experience in a Division I performance nutrition program inpatient and/or outpatient clinical setting and/or academic setting.
Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics CSSD.
Experience working with eating disorders and disordered eating.
Experience working within and Electronic Medical/Health Records System.
Work experience that demonstrates strong computer knowledge in Microsoft Office programs.
Experience that demonstrates ability to work successfully with a diverse student population.
Work experience that demonstrates strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
