Essential Functions:
- Provides on the job training for new employees. Serves as a role model and mentor to other housekeepers.
- Performs quality control inspections. Cleans assigned areas as needed.
- Assess staffing levels to ensure proper coverage.
- Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with engineering to address and resolve facility maintenance and service issues.
- Demonstrates knowledge of 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards.
- Models proper methods of Infection Control in conjunction with cleaning procedures.
- Effectively relates and interacts with patients families staff.
Education Requirement:
High School graduate or equivalent required.
Skills:
- Demonstrate high degree of proficiency in the 10 Step Cleaning Process.
- Strong leadership effective communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Displays positive customer service skills and promotes a team atmosphere.
Experience:
One year of housekeeping experience or servicerelated field with high customer or client contact required.
